Here's a list of dancy, indie-pop or experimental, folk, anything:

- Animal Collective (damn strange indie-pop experimental)
- Black Dice (hasn't left my radio all day today. Early Black Dice for experimental noisecore, later for ambient, more relaxed but still strange. Not quite Of Montreal, but whatever, it's good. Download Cone Toaster)
- The Firebird Band (Christopher Broach's new band since leaving Braid)
- old Talking Heads (the "nervous-energy" post-punk era Talking Heads, not the weirder, experimental, later stuff)
- Ex Models (angular post rock from NY)
- Aloha (awesome band that opened for Q and Not U when I saw them in Roxbury, MA)
- Clinic (supposedly, the new album is amazing; if it's anything like "walking with thee," it's AMAZING)
- Octavcat (weird indie/electronica)
- Boom Bip (hip hop remixes with Boards of Canada, Four Tet and Mogwai)
- Metric (dancy female-led rock)
- Frankenixon (I played a show with these guys in February, and I regret missing their performance because of something that came up. AMAZING band, I could totally see them opening for Of Montreal)
- Ted Leo and the Pharmacists (awesome band fronted by one of the coolest guys in Indie rock today--opened for Piebald and Koufax in 2003)
- Koufax (reminds me of Ben Folds, but with more of that punk/indie feel still in place)
- TV on the Radio (good and jazzy, sort of like Of Montreal but without the cuteness)
- Neutral Milk Hotel (download the album In the Aeroplane Over the Sea, most people love that one. They have one of those folksy-cute vibes like Of Montreal)
- LCD Soundsystem (I was blown away by these guys at the WMC - they are the owners of the much-acclaimed DFA Records that put out the Rapture, Black Dice and others)
- Sunny Day Real Estate (of no real relevance to what you're looking for, but they are amazing nonetheless. I recommmend either Diary or The Risinig Tide to begin listening to Sunny Day)
- Pavement (one of the first indie rock acts to garner national attention aside from Sebadoah and popularized by Stephen Malkmus's sophicated and laconic lyrics)
- Sufjan Stevens (folk rock, same vein as the type of stuff Kevin Barnes does in Of Montreal)
-I really can't think of anything like the Unicorns. They're doing their own thing.

Stay away from Mum. They are aweful. The singer is annoying.
